Flame, a rock band made up of people with developmental and physical disabilities, started in 2003 as a Lexington recreation program and is now an innovative supported employment program.

Their goal - to change the world by inspiring people with disabilities and their families, conveying the message that not only can anyone achieve great things but they can also have a fun, fulfilled life.  Flame's also changing public perceptions about people with disabilities.  Recent performances in Greece and an international event in Idaho have people all over the world praising their ability and accomplishments.
